Weekly Wrap Up

Dear Families

We take pride in fostering strong community connections, and this week has been a wonderful reflection of that spirit.

Our students, staff and family members embraced the message of inclusivity and respect during Harmony Week, celebrating the diverse cultures that make up our school community. From wearing orange and national dress, to performances and picnic lunch, it was a fantastic way to bring everyone together. A big shout out to Mrs Parkinson and Kylee for leading this event.

Our recent Yarlu Learning Assembly was another experience, highlighting our school values underpin everything we do at Brighton. Students shared their learning confidently and the student learning hub leaders demonstrated their skills in public speaking.

Sportsmanship and teamwork were on full display at the Lacrosse Carnival on Wednesday. Our students participated with enthusiasm, supporting one another and showing great determination. A big thank you to Jeff, volunteers, and families who cheered them on and helped make the day a success.

These events remind us of the power of connection and the importance of celebrating diversity, culture, and inclusivity in our school community. We are stronger together.

Thank you for your ongoing support and participation.

Enjoy the weekend.

Warm Regards, Rebecca
