We are delighted to welcome Uncle Tamaru, a respected Kaurna Elder, to our school community. Uncle Tamaru brings with him a deep knowledge of Kaurna culture, language, and storytelling, and we are excited for the opportunity to learn from him.

Uncle Tamaru is passionate about sharing his culture and language with children, helping us all develop a stronger connection to Kaurna Country. This week the children have enjoyed getting to know him and have loved learning some Kaurna through songs and chants.

We look forward to learning with and from Uncle Tamaru and thank him for joining our community. Uncle Tamaru will work at Brighton on Tuesdays.
